A Calculated Risk

This gallery represents much more than a collection of images; it is the culmination of years of belief and a relentless 20-hour marathon photoshoot.

Having known Taylor Zakhar Perez for years, I witnessed his struggle, his discipline, and his work ethic long before the world knew his name. Seeing that star potential early on, I chose to act when the opportunity arrived with the upcoming premiere of The Kissing Booth, utilizing every resource and contact I had built in the industry to ensure his launch was undeniable.

Serving as the bridge between talent and magazines, the focus was on securing Taylor’s first major editorial features. This involved strategically advocating for him with my network, ultimately resulting in Men’s Fashion Post committing to a rare dual cover and Germany’s Schön! Magazine coming on board for a high-concept editorial. Built on the firm belief that Taylor was the future of the industry, this initiative was managed independently, establishing a direct connection with the magazines before a PR team had even stepped in to steer the ship, or the release of his movie.

To pull it off, we went into a marathon production where we knocked out 3 separate magazine shoots in a singular day. It was a grueling, 20-hour day, but we operated as a small but mighty team.

As the sun went down, we shifted gears from cinematic Americana into a high-concept, avant-garde world. We pushed the boundaries of light and reflection, resulting in the striking visuals for Schön! and a subsequent editorial placement in Glamour secured by his PR team.

Taylor is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, and I’m incredibly proud of the work. They aren’t just a portfolio; they are the blueprint of a career on the rise. It is the result of years of observation and one massive, calculated risk.
